A grain truck ran off Illinois Route 32 in Stewardson and hit a house Monday night.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office was notified of the crash at 10pm. The northbound truck ran off the west, or left side of the highway. It traveled through a beanfield and part of a cornfield, then hit the south side of the house, which is the home of Matt Durbin and his family. The house is south across Main Street from the Citgo station in Stewardson. The driver of the rig, 40-year-old Joel Forlines of Shelbyville, was not injured.

The cab of the semi ran into a porch on the house. Here's a photo a listener sent us on Facebook:

The report on the crash is not yet complete, so no word yet on whether citations will be issued. No one in the house was injured.
