A Fayette County man has been arrested as part of a drug investigation.

Fayette County Sheriff's Office drug investigation officers Saturday executed a search warrant at the business and residence of Wayne Harbison.  Harbison has been taken into custody and has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen firearms.  During a court appearance Monday, Harbison's bond was set at $75,000.

The arrest is an outgrowth of an investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office and the Vandalia Police Department.

Fayette County Sheriff Aaron Lay said, "The availability of sythetic drugs has the attention and concern of all law enforcement in Fayette County.  It presents new challenges that we are committed to overcome."
