Details on Tuesday Crash at Temple and Henrietta

Details are available on a crash with injuries that occurred at Henrietta and Temple in Effingham on Tuesday.

The crash happened shortly after 3pm. City police report a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Veronica Ochs of Newton pulled into the path of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Barbara Strader of Effingham.

Ochs was injured, but refused treatment. Strader was injured and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. A passenger in Strader's vehicle, 29-year-old Colby Strader of Effingham, was injured, but refused treatment.

Ochs was cited for failure to yield.
