There will be a lottery Thursday at 8am in the Board offices on South Banker to see who will get the top spot on the Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education election. Galen Altman, Steve Bone and Jim Keith were all present when the filing period began earlier this month so each's name will be included in the lottery.
The lottery will begin at 8am.
