Republicans Again Choose Arnold as Chairman

Republican precinct committeemen and women elected in the March 20 primary met at the Effingham County Office Building Wednesday to elect their officers to serve for the next four years.

Rob Arnold of Watson 2 Precinct was again chosen to serve as Republican Party County Chairman. Ed Hoopingarner of Jackson Township was elected Vice-Chairman. Steve Donaldson of Liberty Township was chosen Second Vice-Chairman. Paul Kuhns of Mason Township was chosen Treasurer. Jane Willenborg of Summit 1 Precinct was chosen Secretary.

Commiittee men and women also voted in the 15th Congressional District State Central Committeeman race. Bob Winchester is the incumbent; State Senator Chapin Rose is also seeking the office.
