Three Beecher City Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

Three Beecher City residents have been arrested on drug charges.

Altamont City Police arrested 38-year-old Corey Hatfill, 34-year-old Blane Traxler and 24-year-old Jeffrey Durbin on counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle. Durbin was also arrested on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear on an earlier charge of possession of meth.

Altamont Police Chief Alan Heiens said his officers acted on an anonymous tip Thursday morning as to Durbin's whereabouts and found him with the other two suspects.

The three are slated to make a court appearance today.
