Siemer Milling Receives Loyola Honor

Siemer Milling Company of Teutopolis has been honored by Loyola University's Family Business Center as its medium-size Illinois Family Business of the Year for 2012.

Siemer Milling President Rick Siemer, in announcing the award to the milling company family, cited Walt Disney's quote, "A person should never neglect his family for business."  Siemer, though, added, "Sometimes, the family is in business, and the business is family...then we practice those family values of Respect, Trust and Responsibility and work hard to help each other...and we accomplish some amazing things!"  Rick Siemer is at the center of the photo, holding the award.
