November South Central School Board Minutes

The South Central Board of Education has renewed a holiday waiver allowing for classes to be held on Lincoln's Birthday and Casimir Pulaski Day.

The Board approved a tax levy for the coming fiscal year totaling $1,875,386.  The tax rate will be 3.7883, which is a reduction from last year's rate.  The levy will be considered for a final vote at the Board's December meeting.

In personnel items, the South Central Board appointed Audrey Matheny as Middle School assistant girls' basketball coach, Lucas Krutsinger as Middle School assistant track coach, Erica Fox as Middle School yearbook sponsor, Derick Vincent as Middle School Scholar Bowl coach, Alexis Phillips and Kyle Lapington as volunteer coaches for the high school, and approved leaves of absence for Christy Welch, Brenda Mount, Sherry Viera and Wendy Reid.
