Wesley Miller was elected Clay County Coroner Tuesday.

The Republican was appointed to the office earlier this year following the death of Coroner Gary Bright.  Miller defeated Democrat Kristina Schnepper, 4133 to 1630.

Republican Crystal Ballard was elected Circuit Clerk, defeating Democrat Sara Kimmell, 3694 to 2137.

Marilyn Brant, running as an independent, was elected unopposed to another term as State's Attorney.

Republican Jerry Britton was elected to the Clay County Board from District C over write-in candidate Joyce O'Donnell, 292 to 120.

Two public questions were approved by residents of the Xenia Fire Protection District.  A request to increase the number of trustees from three to five passed 499 to 96, while a question on electing trustees rather than appointing them passed 538 to 55.
