Additional Man Arrested in Alleged Robberies and Home Invasions in Mattoon

Mattoon police have arrested a man sought in connection with armed robberies and a home invasion at Lakeland Apartments on February 19.

20-year-old Andrew Allen of Charleston was arrested just after noon Thursday. The armed robbery and home invasion charges allege that Allen was among a group of men that entered a residence at the apartments, robbing and assaulting the occupants inside.
Allen is being at Coles County Jail in Charleston.
