Fire Lieutenant Lee is Employee of Quarter

The City of Effingham has congratulated Fire Department Lieutenant Jason Lee on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.

Lt. Lee was nominated for his hard work in repairing and updating the Regional Training Center. When a grant to modernize the facility for fire service training in Effingham was declined, Lt. Lee took it upon himself to make the necessary updates and solicited the help of others to modernize the facility at no cost to the City or the Effingham Fire Department.
