Neoga school board members Thursday voted to re-establish a district curriculum committee.

The move follows the adoption of a new Math curriculum for the district earlier this year, the first new curriculum in several years. Board members Chris Strohl and Shawn Finney were named to the committee.

The Board also assigned members to the Joint RIF Committee...Chris Strohl and Brian Titus...and the Insurance Committee...Chuck Campbell and Michelle Sheehan.

Neoga board members employed Jennifer Davis as a classroom teacher assistant and hired April Webb as a special educator. A resignation to be considered was instead tabled.

The Board also discussed the sale of buses...the District owns seven units, and leases five other vehicles...but took no action, and tabled the matter of bus subcontracting.

The tentative tax levy for the new fiscal year was discussed, and will be voted on following a hearing on the proposal just ahead of the Board's December 8 meeting.
