Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision along US 40 near Teutopolis Monday morning.
Effingham County sheriff's deputies were called to the crash at 8:10am, about two miles east of T-Town. Deputies say a westbound vehicle driven by 47-year-old David Quigley of Plant City, Florida, was stopped in traffic waiting for a construction vehicle to turn left. A following vehicle driven by 77-year-old Edward Wilson of Newton could not stop in time and rear-ended the Quigley vehicle.
Both Quigley and Wilson were treated at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for minor injuries.
No tickets were issued.
