State police have released information about a collision Friday morning involving a car and a motorcycle.
The collision occurred at 10:10am at the intersection of Fayette and Maple. Police say a car driven by 26-year-old Renee Drees of Dieterich turned into the path of an oncoming cycle operated by 53-year-old Gregory Kinser of Brighton, and the cycle hit the car.
Kinser was injured and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
Both drivers were cited; Drees for an improper left turn, and Kinser for driving while his license is revoked.
