Brownstown Board Acts on Personnel, Fees

Brownstown school board members have finalized fees for the coming school year.

Registration fees are $95 for elementary students and $120 for high school and junior high students, while the Driver's Ed fee is $50.

The Board also took care of some personnel items. Jennifer Kesl was employed as a junior-senior high school Math teacher for the coming year, while Josh Behrends was employed as the high school girls basketball assistant coach and Calvin Boggs and Jeffrey Kelly were hired as summer workers.

Brownstown board members accepted the resignation of Nicole McCown as junior-senior high Math teacher, and approved a speech services contract with Stacy Gibson.

A public hearing on the proposed amended budget for the current fiscal year was scheduled for the Board's June 27 meeting.
