Beecher City school board members approved technology upgrades at the grade school building at this month's meeting.

Superintendent Scott Cameron said work is underway to make the building a wireless facility. IPads are being moved from the high school building to the grade school building where they will interact in the wireless facility. More Chromebooks will be acquired for the high school building.

The Board approved five cent increases in lunch fees at both buildings for the coming school year. Those are the only fee changes for the coming year.

Beecher City board members renewed a two-year co-operative agreement with the Altamont school district in soccer; hired Kim Miller to succeed the retiring Geneva Hubbartt as bookkeeper and Unit Office secretary as of the end of June; approved Leslie Kemme as FFA volunteer advisor; okayed Britt Wendling as a social worker for the coming year; and named Kelsey Myers a Special Education English teacher for the coming school year.
