One Injured in Wednesday Crash in Effingham

One person was injured in a collision in Effingham Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred at 11:40am at the intersection of Walnut and Fayette. City police say a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Kathy McElroy of Effingham left the roadway and struck a sign owned by IDOT and a light support owned by Ameren.
McElroy was injured, but she refused treatment. No tickets were issued.
