Three Injured in Crash in City

Three people were injured in a collision in Effingham Tuesday evening.

City police report a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Leandra Mayberry of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Mitchell Metcalf of Effingham.  The collision occurred at 6:44pm on Jaycee Avenue at an entrance to Four Seasons Mobile Home Park.

Mayberry and Metcalf were both injured as was Mayberry's passenger, three-year-old Marilyn Garrison of Effingham.  None of those injured was taken for treatment. 

Mayberry was cited for failure to yield.
