Stair Climb at Hospital Friday to Commemorate 9/11 Anniversary

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 9/11 Honor Stair Climb will take place Friday at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

The effort has been organized by local EMT and firefighter Jerrod Estes, who also put together the inaugural climb last year. The climb is limited to 75 participants.

Check-in will begin at 9am, followed by a group photo at 9:45am, and a moment of silence, prayer and bell ceremony at 9:59am. The stair climb will take place from 10:30am to 1pm, or when the last climbers finish.
