A Brownstown man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.
State police say a pickup truck driven by 44-year-old Michael Lotsey was traveling on US 40, a mile east of Vandalia at 11:29pm. Police say the pickup ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and struck a driveway, went airborne and struck a telephone pole.
Lotsey was injured and was taken to Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, and then was airlifted to another hospital. State police did not know to which hospital Lotsey was transferred.
Lotsey was cited for DUI, improper lane usage, not wearing a seat belt and failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
