The case of Steven Larson is still on track for a June 1 trial date.

Nothing changed in the status of the case against the 60-year-old Larson during a pre-trial hearing Wednesday morning, other than another pre-trial hearing was scheduled for May 21.

Larson faces two counts of kidnapping as well as charges of indecent solicitation of a child, unlawful restraint and obstructing justice. The counts stem from the January 31 disappearance of a 13-year-old girl from rural Effingham who was later located with Larson in a motel in Sikeston, Missouri. Larson faces additional charges in Missouri stemming from the incident.

Larson remains in Effingham County Jail under $250,000 bond.
