The trial of former Altamont resident Stephen B. Mislich has been delayed until July 6.

Mislich, who now lives in Bowling Green, Ohio, was the subject of a 12-count federal grand jury indictment returned earlier this month. An earlier indictment had included four counts against Mislich.

The new indictment charges one count of identity theft, five counts of extortion, three counts of harassment, two counts of producing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.

The child pornography counts allege that one of the people whose nude photos were allegedly obtained by Mislich was 16 years old at the time.

It's alleged that Mislich hacked into online accounts for nude photos that allegedly led to attempts to harass and extort those who posted the photos into providing additional photos.

Mislich's case is next due in court on US District Court in Benton on June 18.

Mislich remains in custody.
