J&J Ventures has donated $100,000 to the Helen Matthes Library Fundraising Campaign. The Effingham-based company recently made the donation towards the building costs of the new Effingham library.

Amanda McKay, Library Director, said, "We are thrilled to receive a donation like this from J&J Ventures and are grateful that they recognize the importance of a new library for the community of Effingham."

The library has raised over $1.5 million towards its fundraising goal of $2 million. Fundraising and construction work continues and the library is preparing to move into its new facility in August.
