Humane Society Honors Those Who Help

A local woman was honored as Volunteer of the Year at the Effingham County Humane Society's annual dinner Saturday.

Cynthia Seymour told those gathered for the fundraiser that what she finds most rewarding is working with her fellow Humane Society volunteers.
