Effingham Water Authority Meets

Effingham Water Authority trustees heard from several individuals at this week's meeting.

Brian Larson, owner of Red Fox Landing, said tentative concert dates are set for The Stage at The Marina. The dates are June 26-28, July 18 and August 7.

Chet Kiefer, one of the owners of Lake Sara Campgrounds, inquired about reimbursement for improvements made in 2014.

Mark Goeckner, owner of Boat Dockers Marina, told trustees he has a potential buyer for the marina and restaurant. Goeckner asked trustees to review the agreement regarding the sale of lots he owns next to the marina.

Trustees voted to accept a bid from Lake Sara Marina for $26,010 for a boat and trailer for use on Lake Sara. Also, reports were heard from various committees. Among the information shared was that the geese egg addling for this year will begin shortly.
