Former Lake Land College Vice President of Development Pam Crisman, Effingham, was recently honored with the 2015 Lisa Mauney Outstanding Fundraising Executive Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) of East Central Illinois.
Crisman served at Lake Land College for 29 years and worked as the vice president for development and chief executive officer of the Lake Land College Foundation. She retired in 2012.
During her career, she worked for all of the past presidents of the college with the exception of one. She led the Foundation in its efforts, raising more than $9 million in assets during her tenure, all the while overseeing nearly seven other job functions and operations at the college. Most recently, she assisted in the transition of a new Executive Director for College Advancement and was instrumental in securing three of the largest gifts in the history of the college.
“Lisa was so vivacious and talented,” said Jackie Joines, executive director for college advancement at Lake Land College. “We are so proud that Lake Land’s own Pam Crisman was selected as this year’s award recipient because it really speaks to Pam’s commitment to enhance the resources for students at Lake Land College.”
