St. Elmo Superintendent Deb Philpot Monday told the school board that the fall enrollment in the district is up three students from last year's enrollment.
Grade school principal Sean Hannagan reported he had 250 students enroll, but high school principal Brian Garrard said his numbers are fluctuating due to students moving into and out of the district at the start of the year.
Board members approved a trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis October 24-26. Advisor Doug Thurnau and students Stefanie Sapp and Emily Aderman reported to the Board on the upcoming event.
The Board approved a tentative budget for the coming fiscal year; approved a safety hazard resolution and a plan provider agreement; hired LaTosha Schroeder as a paraprofessional retroactive to August 16; and accepted the resignation of Val Behl as junior high assistant volleyball coach.
