Collection Dates Announced for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Collection dates for Operation Christmas Child are November 17 – 24th at Cornerstone Christian Church in Effingham. Over 20,000 shoeboxes were collected in this area last year, and organizers are hoping you will help them collect even more this year. 

Collection Chairman Pat Berry said, "Just a simple shoebox means so much to children who have nothing. Not only are they receiving small gifts, but also the opportunity to learn about God’s love for them."

Collection hours are as follows:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 17, 18 and 19 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.

Thursday and Friday, November 20 and 21 from 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Saturday, November 22 from 9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.

Sunday, November 23 from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Monday, November 24 from 9:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.
