Effingham County, Jasper County Clerk's Offices Open Saturday for Voting

You'll have a chance to cast a ballot Saturday in Effingham County and Jasper County if you'll be out of your county of residence on Election Day Tuesday.

Effingham County Clerk Kerry Hirtzel said his office will be open from 8am to noon Saturday solely for voting. The office is located on the second floor of the Effingham County Office Building, west across the street from the Old Courthouse in downtown Effingham. Clerk Hirtzel also reminds those who had ballots mailed to them to get those returned by Election Day.

Jasper County Clerk Linda Huth said her office will be open Saturday from 9am to noon for early voting. The office is located at 204 West Washington Street in Newton. Phone the office for more information.
