Shelby County State's Attorney Gina Vonderheide has announced that a Beecher City man faces prison time.

32-year-old Elijah Donaldson has been sentenced to two years in prison for admitting to a violation of probation. Donaldson originally pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening a public official, for threatening Shelby County Correctional Officer Matthew Graham. He was placed on probation, but that probation was revoked and he was sentenced to an additional 30 months of probation. Donaldson then violated that probation by failing to report to the Probation Department on four separate occasions in 2013.

Donaldson's sentence will be served concurrently with a prison tern for an Effingham County burglary.
