Four Injured in Jasper County Crash

Four people were injured in a crash in Jasper County Sunday afternoon.

State police say 61-year-old Dana Chapman of Willow Hill fell asleep at the wheel. The Chapman vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Paula Goff of Calhoun. The crash occurred at 4:23pm on Illinois Route 49, three miles north of Willow Hill.

Chapman and Chapman's passenger, 89-year-old Kenneth Chapman of Willow Hill were injured and were taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. Goff and her passenger, James Clark of Calhoun, were injured and were treated at the scene.

Dana Chapman was cited for improper lane usage.
