A husband and wife from Las Vegas were injured in a crash Sunday morning in Clark County.

State police say 72-year-old Clyde Marshall and his wife, 72-year-old Nancy Marshall were injured in the crash two miles south of Casey on Illinois 49. A grain truck driven by 57-year-old Wayne Carver of Greenup attempted to turn off the highway into a private drive at the same time Marshall attempted to pass the truck. The grain truck caught Marshall's vehicle at an angle and the vehicle ended up off the roadway.

Wayne and Nancy Marshall were taken to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County for treatment. Carver was not injured.

The crash occurred at 10:40am. Wayne Marshall was cited for improper overtaking.
