A Jasper County woman has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for drugs.

37-year-old Rebecca Moore of Yale was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to two counts. One count charged Moore and three co-defendants with conspiring to knowingly and intentionally distribute methamphetamine. The other count charged Moore with maintaining a residence in Yale from April 2013 to October 12, 2013 for the purpose of using and distributing meth.

One co-defendant, 29-year-old Ashley Attaway of Yale was earlier sentenced to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty in the case. The other co-defendants, 44-year-old David Halterman of Yale and 39-year-old Ricky Lee Roberts II of Franklin, Indiana, are set for trial on November 3.

The investigation in the case was conducted by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department, the Crawford County Sheriff's Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. The Jasper County State's Attorney's Office has assisted in the case throughout the investigation.
