Hidalgo Man Arrested for Violating Bail

A Hidalgo man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations that he violated conditions of his bail.

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department arrested 51-year-old Charles T. Cisney. Cisney had been released on July 30 after posting $10,000 cash bond on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual assault. He is being held in Jasper County Jail. A new bond is yet to be set on the alleged earlier bond violation.

Cisney is next due in court on Tuesday.
