Repairs to Antenna Underway at Our Stations Today

We had a crew this afternoon at the station, that's much braver than we are, working on one of our towers that took a direct lightning strike a month ago today.

The strike damaged our Marti antenna that we use to broadcast local sports and live broadcasts around the city, literally breaking the antenna tip off the top of the tower.

We've been making repairs on nearly a daily basis to various equipment around the station, most recently improving the audio quality on 979 XFM.
