Noble Resident Injured in Thursday Night Crash

A Noble resident was injured Thursday night when the cycle he was operating with no lights was struck by a van.

The crash occurred at 9:15pm on Illinois Route 250 in Richland County.

State police say 28-year-old Dustin Turner of Noble was riding an off-road cycle with no lights on the roadway. A van driven by 34-year-old Steven Atwell of Noble turned into his driveway and collided with the cycle. The impact threw Turner off the cycle.

Turner was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was cited for driving without lights when required and operating an ATV on a roadway.
