No one was injured when a cement truck crashed into a home day care center in Jasper County Thursday morning.

State police say the incident occurred just after 10am at 8090 East 600th Avenue near Newton. The truck, driven by an Olney man, was traveling on 600th Avenue when a steer tire blew, causing the vehicle to veer into the day care building.

Authorities say children were not present in the room into which the cement truck crashed.
