Police Investigating Burglary

Effingham city police are investigating a residential burglary.

Police say the break-in occurred at an apartment at 1201 Jenner Avenue on Sunday between 9am and 2:49pm. The burglar stole a safe valued at $100, birth certificates, war medals and an undetermined amount of cash.
