Childhood poverty is on the rise in Illinois.

A new report put out by the Annie E. Casey Foundation reveals that 347,000 kids live in neighborhoods that have a poverty rate of 30% or higher. That's up by about one third in 14 years.

On a positive note, fewer babies are being born to teenage mothers across the state. The report reveals that the teen birth rate is down.
