Beecher City school board members are looking for a new board member.
Becky Barnes has resigned her position, citing personal reasons as to why she can't fill out her term.
Beecher City Superintendent Scott Cameron said whoever is chosen to replace Barnes will serve until the school board election next April. Cameron said there are no restrictions as to where in the district someone interested in the post may live, so anyone interested may apply. He said the Board hopes to decide on Barnes' replacement at their August meeting.
The Beecher City board also approved Heather Shelton as the cheerleading coach.
Cameron reminded Board members that registration for the coming school year at Beecher City is set for August 7 at the grade school from 9am to noon and from 1 to 6pm.
