Kelsey Fulk, Hayden Rensner Fair Talent Show Winners

Kelsey Fulk and Hayden Rensner were the top finishers at the Effingham County Fair Talent Show Sunday night.
The 21-year-old Fulk, who accompanied herself on guitar as she sang won the Senior Division, while the 13-year-old Rensner wowed the crowd with a juggling act to win the Junior Division.
Both will now compete at the Illinois County Fair Talent Show in January in Springfield at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention. If they fare well there, they could perform at the 2013 Illinois State Fair.
A dance group known as W.O.P. took second place in the Senior Division. The girls, all 12- to 15-years-old, are Bailee Merkel, Kerigan Phillips, Megan Phillips, Mindy Ritchy, Nicole Ragan, Emily Koeberlein, Emily Becker, and Jordan Christy.
Second place in the Junior Division went to Country Fried, a group of dancers ages 6 to 13 years old including Tinley Mette, Tyler Mette, Anna Koeberlein, Anna Kramer, Lauren Kiamer, Matilyn Griggs, Macy Christy and Willow Brown.
Other Senior Division performers included Reagan Keck, Rachel Probst, Dani Ashbaugh, Shania Patton, Abby Hagan and Jennifer Soltwedel. Other Junior Division performers included Daniel and Ethan Durbin-Flach, Elezabeth Brackney, Lauren Siemer, Baylee LeFever and Rachel Teeter, Mikayla Blankenship, Madison Fear, Josie Byers, Katie Courson, Mariah Durbin, Violet Wendling and Kaitlin Holste, and America Patton.
Last year's winners...Jodi Thoele in the Junior Division and Greg Watson and Christian Stuckemeyer in the Senior Division...returned for an encore at this year's show and Fair Queen Melissa Mellendorf returned for a talent show performance with her rendition of "Pink Cadillac".
The a capella vocal quartet, "Blend" from Marion also entertained with a medley of 50s and 60s music, country and gospel songs.
