Effingham Woman Injured in Noon Hour Crash

An Effingham woman was injured in a noon hour crash Wednesday near Effingham High School.
The crash was reported to Effingham City Police at 12:31pm. Police report a vehicle driven by 30-year-old April Fleshner left the roadway at Henrietta Street and US 40. The vehicle struck a curb and crashed into a CSX Railroad signal house before coming to a stop just north of the railroad tracks.
Fleshner was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. Police cited Fleshner for improper lane usage.
