North Clay school board members Tuesday took action on several personnel matters for the coming year at a special board meeting.
The Board hired Kyla McGinnis as a Physical Education teacher, and junior high and high school head softball coach. Ellen Byers' resignation as elementary teacher was accepted, effective immediately, and Leigh Williams was hired as an elementary teacher. Angie Stanfield's resignation as junior high girls head basketball coach was accepted on a 4-1 vote with board member Cochran voting No.
Board members hired Jeana Johnson and Kendra Jones as paraprofessionals, Ann Bryan was hired as high school Scholar Bowl coach, and the administration was granted authority to hire other staff as needed.
