Unit 40 Registration in Full Swing

Registration for the coming school year in underway for Effingham Unit 40 students.
Registration for all Unit 40 students will be in the Effingham High School Cafetorium.
If you'd like to work ahead and fill some of the paperwork out BEFORE registration, you'll find that in English here, and in Spanish here. You can also download applications for the lunch program. Registration forms are located on the bottom-right of the page.
Unit 40 students entering Early Childhood Special Education through 8th grade will register as follows:
--Last names beginning with letters A through G should register on Wednesday, August 1 between noon and 6pm
--Last names beginning with letters H through P should register on Thursday, August 2 between noon and 6pm
--Last names beginning with letters Q through Z should register on Friday, August 3 between 10am and 2pm
Effingham High School registration will take place next week. Here's the schedule:
--Wednesday, August 8--seniors between 8 and 10am...juniors between 10am and 12:30pm...sophomores between 12:30 and 3pm
--Thursday, August 9--freshmen, new students and multiple-student families and any other student that didn't register on August 8 between 8am and 3pm
Parking will be assigned for EHS students on Friday, August 10 according to this schedule:
--seniors between 10 and 11:15am
--juniors between 11:15am and 12:15pm
--sophomores between 1 and 2pm
Thursday, August 16 will be the first day of attendance for students from Early Childhood Special Education through 12th grade. Students will attend classes until 2pm. Lunch will be served. On that date, Early Learning Center students and Central Early Childhood Special Education students should be taken to school and picked up from school by their parents or guardians...all other students will have bus service available. Edgewood Kindergartens students CAN ride the bus that day.
Friday, August 17 will have attendance until 2pm and lunch will be served. Early Learning Center will have regular busing transportation on that day. The Early Childhood Special Education students will follow their AM/PM schedules that day, except the PM classes will have a shorter session.
Monday, August 20 will be the first full day of attendance.
