Two individuals are due in court Thursday in Jasper County on methamphetamine charges.

Jasper County Sheriff Ed Francis said 24-year-old Trevor Lindemann and 30-year-old Jessica Dilley were arrested at a residence in Wheeler Friday night.  Francis said an investigation initiated by Newton City Police led authorities to Wheeler where a search warrant was executed on the residence where Lindemann and Dilley were located.  Arrest warrants were served on Lindemann and Dilley.

The Jasper County State's Attorney's Office Wednesday said Lindemann and Dilley are each charged with possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials.  Dilley is also charged with two counts of methamphetamine delivery and one count of use of property for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Both defendants were being held at Jasper County Jail in Newton at last report.
